Invitation

We’re excited to invite you to share your story, it’s fun and supports ladies across Australia in rural, regional and remote areas! Snap a pic of yourself, write a short story about yourself of around 200 words and send it in. Don’t worry, there’s a handy cheat sheet to step you through. Send your photo and story via email, we can’t wait to hear from you

Your story has the power to inspire others, remind someone they’re not alone and show the beauty and challenges of life on the land through your eyes. Together, our voices build a stronger, more connected network of women across the country.

Why The Story of Me?

The Story of Me is about being real in everyday conversations, encouraging us to share our personal stories with honesty and openness. It seeks to inspire and uplift Australian rural women by revealing the strength, struggles and beauty that come with life in rural, regional, and remote areas.

Through telling these stories, we share our experiences and show others they are not alone in their journey.

You are remarkable! What may seem ordinary to you is often extraordinary to others. Embrace the courage to tell your story, you never know who it might touch.

The collage includes a photo of her in a pink shirt and cowboy hat standing in a grassy field with cattle, a photo of her sitting with a dog in an outdoor enclosure, and an image of her working with animals in a barn. There is a map of Australia highlighting Crookwell, NSW, and a circular logo 'Ladies on the Land Australia.' A quote discusses her struggles and learning to ask for help.
